JEFFERY HOLT-DECEMBER 5, 2009
'TWAS THE NIGHT ON A SATURDAY,
AND WE WERE WATCHING THE HOUSE.
NOT A PERSON WAS STIRRING,
NOT EVEN JEFFERY, THE LOUSE!
WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, WE HEARD A SMALL CLATTER;
WE LOOKED AT THE HOUSE, WONDERING 'WHAT WAS THE MATTER'.
WHY IT WAS JEFFERY WHO CAME OUT,
UNDERNEATH THE GARAGE DOOR;
AND TODAY IS THE DAY, WE WILL CHASE HIM NO MORE.
WE SPRANG INTO ACTION, SO SWIFT AND SO QUICK;
MAYBE JEFF WAS THINKING, 'COULD THIS BE ST. NICK'?
WE SPOKE NOT A WORD, BUT RAN STRAIGHT FOR THE JERK;
"YOU WERE EASY TO CATCH, CAUSE YOU DON'T EVEN WORK".
IN CUFFS HE WAS TAKEN, TO MY LITTLE BLACK CAR;
I SAID, "DON'T WORRY JEFFERY, WE WON'T HAVE TO DRIVE FAR".
I HEARD HIM EXCLAIM, AS WE DROVE THROUGH THE NIGHT;
'YOU 2 BIG BAD BOYS SURE GAVE ME A FRIGHT'.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YA ANYWAY, JEFFERY.
